Green Book
Liam is back in school, so daily skiing is on hiatus. I had a day to myself, and went to see Green Book. I knew very little about this film, going in, other than it was a complete left-turn from the writer/director of Something about Mary.
The story was a rich mix of comedy, drama and intrigue. The dichotomy of the two main characters is what drives the film, and their influence on one another makes the viewer fall in love with them both, including their flaws. The two main actors both pulled off their characters incredibly well.
Anyone who tells you that they didn't cry, even a little, is either lying or completely dead inside. There were laughs, and devastating moments, but the viewer goes away feeling hope.
