Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood
A few weeks ago, the wife had the little son, and I had the bigger one. I took him to a kids' playroom and dropped him off, ditched him, really, and went upstairs to the cinema to catch Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood. Although the film is quite slow and languid, it is multi-faceted - the slower parts of the film have a pay off. Also, the balance between fact and fiction is a fresh approach. I particularly like an altercation with Bruce Lee as a piece of exposition of how well a character of the film can fight. I also enjoyed the lack of direct reference to the original crime which makes the view sort through the events of the film, in order to understand.
