One Nation One King (BIFF 2018 throwback)
My original thought was the massive scale of costume and set this film took on, constantly and throughout. The costumes and stetting never allowed the view to even contemplate that this film was anything but the late 19th century.
The story itself was basically a lecture on the event's leading to the execution of Louis XVI, which was all pretty new to me, so I guess that it was a requisite for me to see. The acting was great and the cinematography made the exposition interesting.
